Personnel

The full-time strength of the UK's three regular services, the Army, Royal Navy and RAF. Regular forces are full-time personnel, so this excludes the Gurkhas, volunteer reserves and full-time reservists. The Army is historically the largest of the three. A larger strength means more people to deploy; a smaller one, fewer.
